No! It is the students' ministry. Being present can be interpreted many ways, but overall your presence lets students know you are there for them & have guidance from a healthcare professional.

Mentoring means different things to different people. Campus Advisors need to INFLUENCE student leaders. They want your guidance and the ministry needs you for continuity.

No. While each chapter may need at least one faculty member to be an official CMDA chapter with their school, Campus Advisors do not all need to be faculty.

Campus Advisors receive a complimentary digital membership to CMDA, so you become a member by becoming a Campus Advisor.

Regional Directors are the primary support for Campus Advisors, but they will probably connect you with advisors at other schools to help you troubleshoot or get ideas.

YES! On many campuses we are actually finding 2+ Advisors to be encouraging for both the students and docs involved, as well as promote the longevity of the chapter. Feel free to invite others to join you, as well as sharing the Campus Advisor application form below.
