The Church And Science In A COVID World
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2020
1:00 p.m. (EST)
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the church has taken disjointed positions on the scientific research guiding political and practical responses to the outbreak. Despite varying degrees of success, those inside and outside the church have expressed frustration about how to address health at the personal level and worship gatherings.
The Christian Medical & Dental Associations (CMDA) and The Hendricks Center at Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) are excited to host a webinar entitled “The Church and Science in a COVID World.” This seminar will help Christians consider science as they think through faith communities and individual believers’ practical realities.
Join theological and medical experts on October 1, 2020, at 1:00 (EDT) to discuss judicious practices for re-entry and re-opening society’s institutions, managing anxieties with these efforts, considerations surrounding the push toward a vaccine, and what a distinctly Christian response to the pandemic might be.
