Andrew Wilson, DO PGY-7, Interventional Cardiology fellow at UT-Austin, and Bill discuss the challenges of residency and fellowship and how to nurture your soul through them.
Andrew Wilson is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and a Major in the US Army. He is from Southern California where he completed his medical training at Western University of Health Sciences on a military scholarship. He then relocated to San Antonio, TX where he completed both his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship at Brooke Army Medical Center. Currently, he is an Interventional Cardiology fellow at the University of Texas at Austin. Andrew also serves as a national resident representative for the NRFC. He is happily married to his wife Alexis who is a pediatrician, and they enjoy serving together in CMDA and their church. Andrew has a desire to promote relationships and community among Christian healthcare professionals.
