Three Questions Every Student Should Answer

Three Questions Every Student Should Answer

Episode #16

Dr. David Kim is a physician, co-founder and CEO of Beacon Christian Community Health Center, New York City's only openly faith-based federally-supported community health center.  He was involved in the start of NYC's student ministry, Intermed, in 1994, which is still active today.  Over the last 20 years, Dr. Kim and his wife, Dr. Janet Kim, have taught and mentored students and residents both locally and nationally.

Dr. Kim received his MD from Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn, and his MBA in Healthcare from the George Washington University School of Business.  He and Janet are the grateful parents of four children.

In our discussion on this episode, Dr. David Kim poses the following 3 questions that every healthcare student should be able to answer:

  • What does it mean to be a Christian?
  • What does it mean to be a Christian in healthcare?
  • How then is God using your identity & vocation to be part of His transformative healing in the lives of people around you?
