Living as Exiles in Babylon

Dr, Rebecca Meyer will focus on the challenges believers experience as they try to stay missionally-minded, while living in exile in a modern-day Babylonian-type culture. The parallels that can be made between Ancient Babylon, where the nation of Israel was taken into captivity, and today’s culture will be presented. Strategies to resist the temptations and corruption of our modern-day Babylon so that we can be a witness for His kingdom locally, nationally, and globally will also be discussed.

Living for Christ in healthcare … from now on

“Through the apostles, we have received crystal clear instructions from Christ to be his witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth,” Paul told the Corinthians (2 Corinthians 5:11-21). Dr. Mike Chupp will share how Christ’s love moves us to be such obedient witnesses and that his death for all was a demonstration project that we must replicate. To complete our mission, we must view others through divine lenses and be faithful ambassadors of him who is “the ruler of the kings of the earth” (Rev 1:5).
