Dr. Chupp has served as the CEO of CMDA since 2019. He completed his general surgery residency at Methodist Hospital in 1993. He worked as a surgeon with a special interest in orthopedics at Tenwek Hospital in Kenya from 1996 until 2016, at which time he returned to the US to work with CMDA. He and his wife Pam have four children.
Richard (Rick) Schurman PT Cert MDT, is a graduate of Northwestern University Physical Therapy program
and credentialed in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. Rick has been practicing for 43 years. Rick has been highly involved in missions having taken 16 short-term trips to the Dominican Republic with Global Health Outreach as well as teaching with Medical Education International at Mbingo Hospital in Cameroon.
Doug is a family physician who serves as the Director for the Center of Advancing Healthcare Missions at CMDA. He and his wife Ruth served as missionaries in Nepal, where he was medical director of HDCS Team Hospital Dadeldhura and practiced full-spectrum family medicine. They now live outside of Milwaukee with their two children.
